Locum Pharmacist (Community Pharmacy)
Job description
- Manage community pharmacies, coordinate business operations, customer services, etc.
- Maintain the smooth operation of pharmacies, medicine cabinets and drug refrigerators, and comply with occupational safety and health.
- Ensure all medications are safe and service units are secure and locked.
- Order, receive, store and sell all types of drugs listed in the relevant drug laws and regulations to ensure that the pharmacy complies with licensing requirements and drug-related laws.
- Contact different service providers to obtain the most favorable cooperation agreement for the public and pharmacies.
- Provide dispensing services, process drug labels and arrange shipments.
- Process prescriptions from registered doctors (including Western doctors, dentists and veterinarians) and prepare medicines according to prescriptions.
- Dispose of expired or unsuitable drugs in accordance with legal requirements, and coordinate with suppliers to recall problematic drugs to prevent problematic drugs from leaving the market.
- Provide drug consultation, organize health education and promotion activities.
- Financial Management: Manage revenue, payments and accounting in accordance with organizational financial procedures.
- Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or above in pharmacy;
- Possess a pharmacist registration certificate and annual practicing certificate issued by the Hong Kong Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
