Locum Pharmacist (Community Pharmacy) | Methodist Centre (UAT)

Job description

Manage community pharmacies, coordinate business operations, customer services, etc.
Maintain the smooth operation of pharmacies, medicine cabinets and drug refrigerators, and comply with occupational safety and health.
Ensure all medications are safe and service units are secure and locked.
Order, receive, store and sell all types of drugs listed in the relevant drug laws and regulations to ensure that the pharmacy complies with licensing requirements and drug-related laws.
Contact different service providers to obtain the most favorable cooperation agreement for the public and pharmacies.
Provide dispensing services, process drug labels and arrange shipments.
Process prescriptions from registered doctors (including Western doctors, dentists and veterinarians) and prepare medicines according to prescriptions.
Dispose of expired or unsuitable drugs in accordance with legal requirements, and coordinate with suppliers to recall problematic drugs to prevent problematic drugs from leaving the market.
Provide drug consultation, organize health education and promotion activities.
Financial Management: Manage revenue, payments and accounting in accordance with organizational financial procedures.
Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and requirements

Possess a bachelor's degree or above in pharmacy;
Possess a pharmacist registration certificate and annual practicing certificate issued by the Hong Kong Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
